The Personal Bee is ambitious: We've got a product that opens up new opportunities for people to organize and receive online information. But The Personal Bee is also complex. One of the most frequent pieces of feedback we get goes something like this: "Help!"
For months, we've been documenting the site and all its functions and building a user help file. Until today, we emailed the file as an attachment to our beta testers and other early users of our full-featured Bee product. Now, in the midst of our ongoing development work, we've put the Beekeeper help documentation online. You can find it at http://www.personalbee.com/bee_help.php or access it through the Help documentation for Beekeepers link on your Personal Bee's Admin page (the link is immediately below the Feed search form on the opening Admin page).
This is just a beginning, of course. We're in the middle of developing a Bee creation wizard to guide new Beekeepers through the process of the Bee setup process. We ought to have that online ... well, soon. Beyond that, we're working to add dimension to our online help -- for instance, creating a FAQ -- and to make it more user friendly.
at least do one thing... add tool tips to your various functions. I don't have a clue as to what half of the things do... I suspect it's something useful, but what exactly? Or approximately?
